The European Space Agency ESA plans to promote European high-tech start-ups more intensively through its Space Solution Alliance, a specialized network of aerospace companies, research institutes and public institutions. T-Systems, Deutsche Telekom’s corporate customer division and the Space Solution Alliance’s first partner, is supporting the network with its Open Telekom Cloud. The Open Telekom Cloud will provide a secure platform for storing and processing the vast amount of data typically generated in the space industry.
Cloud solutions in rocket science: T-Systems supports European high-tech start-ups

ESA currently operates 16 incubators across Europe, which support start-ups seeking to transfer technologies from the space industry to other business sectors. T-Systems is now offering free services from the Open Telekom Cloud on a trial basis for start-ups from the ESA incubators.
In addition, start-ups can apply for permanent use of customized cloud services. If the application is successful, the start-ups will receive cloud services and support from service and migration specialists worth up to €30,000.
