In this article you can read

  • how to find the right support partner for using the Open Telekom Cloud,
  • which SaaS services partners offer on the Open Telekom Cloud,
  • and whom you can contact if you want to become a partner yourself.

The Open Telekom Cloud partner ecosystem is continuously growing. To keep an overview of the Open Telekom Cloud ecosystem, The Partner Navigator is now available to give users a quick orientation of which partner offers which additional services. The partner ecosystem offers experienced consulting and deployment experts who are familiar with cloud management and containers, as well as providers of additional services for complete Software as a Service (SaaS) operated on the Open Telekom Cloud.

Transparency for the growing partner network of the Open Telekom Cloud

“We have been pursuing the plan to present our partner ecosystem more broadly and clearly for some time now. I am delighted that we have now been able to launch the new website,” says Ulf Mayer, Partner Manager of the Open Telekom Cloud. “We are aware that the Open Telekom Cloud with its functions, infrastructure and platform services is primarily aimed at IT specialists. With our partners' services, we provide additional expertise around the Open Telekom Cloud, but also build a bridge to the specialist departments that are looking for a ready-to-use complete solution for a specific business process.”

The Partner Navigator - simply find the right service

Each partner is presented transparently in the Partner Navigator, including their specific services. The detailed descriptions take interested parties directly to the pages of the respective partner, where they can make contact. The navigator can be accessed in three ways: Interested parties can access the page directly at https://partners.otc-service.com. It is also integrated into the existing website: firstly, via our Circle partner page, and secondly via the solutions page (complete solutions/cloud solutions from our partners). The first 24 partners are currently listed, with more being regularly added. These also include offers from the Deutsche Telekom Group. The right partner can be easily identified using three selection criteria, for which the buttons at the top of the page are used. Available categories are the type of partner services, the desired cooperation model, and technological or vertical specialization of the offering. A keyword search can be found at the top of the page.

The partner offers include services such as consulting, managed services, and solutions and products. While “Consulting” and “Managed Services” offer expertise for the use of the Open Telekom Cloud itself, “Solutions and Products” are aimed at users who simply want to use a complete solution from the cloud. Under “Collaboration models”, users can choose between the marketplace or project-based collaboration. The marketplace is currently in the beta phase and providers can register their services there. Under “technological” or “vertical specialization” of the offers, keywords such as AI, big data, machine learning, databases, compliance & security, containers & Kubernetes, professional solutions, software developers and storage can be found.

Why become an Open Telekom Cloud partner?

Open Telekom Cloud partners not only benefit from being listed in the Partner Navigator and are the first to be invited to offer their services via the marketplace. They also receive continuous, free support and a marketing package to help them market their offerings. In addition to Enterprise Discounts for their tenant, they receive access to the Enterprise Dashboard (for FinOps and billing of services to customers) as well as faster ticket processing times (max. one hour).

“If you want to be listed as a partner, you have to prove that you know the Open Telekom Cloud and that your product runs smoothly on the platform,” explains Ulf Mayer. With the appropriate level of knowledge, which must be proven via a proof of concept or the Open Telekom Cloud certificates, the only thing missing for a listing is a successful application for the Circle Partner Program. With this present, partners become part of the Magenta family and can use the Deutsche Telekom brand to their advantage. In close cooperation, they benefit from the large business network and marketing.
