RDS support lower_case_table_names setting in MySQL
How table and database names are stored on disk and used in MySQL is affected by the lower_case_table_names system variable.

RDS offers Recycle Bin as emergency solution
From now on, after deleting a database, a single backup will be automatically triggered and is based from the current state before the deletion process started and the backup is then stored in the Recycle Bin. All backups will then be deleted.
CBR Monitoring and Alerting via CES available
With the newest update of the Cloud Eye Service (CES) it is possible to monitor key metrics of Cloud Backup & Recovery service (CBR) as well as configure alerts and notifications for specific events.
New DCS versions 4.0 and 5.0 for Redis Cache Engine available
DCS Redis 4.0 is based on Redis 4.0.14 and Redis 5.0 is based on Redis 5.0.9. Both are compatible with open source protocols and commands.
