Today we would like to highlight that Cloud Eye Service (CES) received an update that provides you the ability to monitor the Cloud Backup & Recovery Service (CBR). In particular you are able to monitor the used vault size in total as well as percentage value. This enables you to easily track your CBR backup consumption and execute actions in case your backup consumption exceeds specific thresholds. In addition you are able to configure notifications that are send to you once e.g. storage consumption almost hits the limit. Afterwards you can conveniently allocate more storage space for your backups in order to avoid backup execution being blocked by exceeding the storage size.
As additional functionality CES allows you to configure alerts based on events occuring within the CBR service. This allows you to receive information when those appear in order to take proper actions. The supported events are:
- backup creation failed
- resource using backup failed
- deletion of backup failed
- deletion of vault failed
- backup sucessfully created
- succesful restoration of resource using backup
- backup succesfully deleted
- vault succesfully deleted
