SFS type “General Purpose File System” available in beta

The new SFS type "General Purpose File System" (GP FS) is available in a beta version. General Purpose File System replaces SFS Capacity-oriented resp. SFS Common IO. With the end of the beta, we will provide information on the EOL of SFS Capacity-oriented resp. Common IO.

The General Purpose File System is a cost-efficient file storage that is suitable for large files and irregular access. If you have requirements for a more powerful file storage, please select the corresponding SFS Turbo / SFS Turbo HPC variants that meet your requirements.

General Purpose File System is billed on a pay-per-use model and does not include a minimum size for the file storage. Price information can be found in the price calculator or in the service description.
