You have now the option to share an object directly from OBS via the "Share" functionality. This functionality is given via the API as well as the Console/User Interface. Sharing allows you to create a link that, if known, allows a user to access/download the corresponding object. The functionality is available within the Objects list. From here you just need to select the desired "share" button from the list of objects.

Afterwards you are able to configure a timeframe the share link should be available and functional. Once the configured period of time exceeds, the share link won´t work any longer and a download is prohibited.
In addition you can conveniently copy the share link and use them to forward it to the desired person to grant access.
Important note: This feature is designed to share non-sensitive data. Please keep in mind that this functionality provides public read rights on the object. Anyone with access to the link is able to access and download the desired object. So it provides access to anonymous users. Please handle this feature carefully and keep this in mind while using.
