An inventory functionality is now available in the Object Storage Service. This makes it possible to get an overview of the objects in the OBS bucket. When the function is activated, the OBS creates an inventory report at defined intervals (daily/weekly), which lists the objects and their properties.

Within the OTC console, this functionality can be found on the left-hand side of the bucket configuration. An inventory report can then be created in just a few steps.

In the first step, the storage location, a filter for the objects and the frequency of the inventory report (daily/weekly) can be configured. The report to be created can then be customised. This can include all versions of an object or just the current one. The necessary object properties, which should also be listed in the report, can also be conveniently selected there.
