The new ECS Flavor g7 includes NVIDIA A40 GPU(s). They will be provided in GPU pass-through mode.

G7 flavors are suitable for graphics accelerated workload like floating point calculations, 3D rendering of animations and computer aided design (CAD).

This multi-purpose GPU flavor could be considered as a perfect infrastructure for applying trained AI models – so called AI inference workload.

You can find this flavor in the OTC Console under "Elastic Cloud Server" in the "Computing" area and here in the "GPU-accelerated" tab in the EU-NL region.
