Next to some bug-fixes the major changes are:
Migration Management
With the new API it is now possible to create migration instances in an automated way. This supports also the starting and stopping of instances and to query the progress of on ongoing migration task. More details.
SSL Management
The new API allows to activate and deactivate the SSL encryption (since Redis 6.x). Also, the download of the required SSL certificates is possible. More details.
Instance Tagging
The new API support the tagging of each DCS instance in an automated way (for a single instance or in a batch way) to create tags for the TMS (Tag Management Service). Mehr Details.
Enhanced Cache Analytics
Now the Cache analytics for e.g. Big-Keys and Hot-Keys can be listed, downloaded and deleted via the API. More details.
Enhanced Documentation
A new chapter has been added to support the Data migration and Synchronization of DCS instances for various scenarios like:
- Synchronization between local and cloud-based instances
- Synchronization between multiple OTC DCS instances
- Synchronization between multiple cloud-based instances from different cloud service providers
Additionally, a new page has been added Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for an easier mapping between the API endpoints and the respective Roles in IAM.
