Data Warehouse Service New Minor Version 8.3.1.1 

New Minor Version 8.3.1.1 of Data Warehouse Service (DWS) offers New Features and some changed on existing ones.

 New Features:

• When creating a cluster, you can specify the time zone.
• The cluster can be stopped and started separately to facilitate service offline.

• Added the function of changing the cluster name in the data warehouse.
• The cluster supports self-service upgrade and pre-scaling inspection.
• OBS data sources are supported on the console.

 Solved Issues:

• DWS supports capacity expansion across VPC subnets.
• DWS supports the change of security groups.
• After the cluster is expanded by segment, idle nodes are added, and the cluster is prepared. (including installation package download and cluster mutual trust) The step is an independent step and supports reentrant. The step has no impact on the existing service cluster.
• A progress bar is added during DWS restoration.
• Scale-in is supported in the logical cluster scenario.
