The Cloud Container Engine (CCE) with K8s v1.28 is now released in both German(EU-DE) and Netherland(EU-NL) regions. In addition, the K8s of CCE Turbo in EU-DE has also been upgraded to v1.28.
The feature changes in CCE v1.28 are described in Help Center. Further information about Kubernetes 1.28 can be found in K8s release announcement.
Important and notes:
- IPv6 is supported
- Upgrading to 1.28 is not supported currently. This feature will be enabled in the next weeks.
- CentOS and EulerOS 2.5 worker nodes image removal for CCE v1.27 or later
- Disk Encryption for Master Nodes is enabled
- Disk Encryption for Master Nodes is a new feature of CCE. Now it is available in EU-DE and EU-NL. By selecting this option during creating cluster, system disk and data disks of controller(master) nodes can be encrypted to provide powerful data security protection.
- Notes:
- Disk read/write performance of disks will be degraded by enabling this function.
- This option cannot be modified after a cluster is created.
- This function is available only for clusters of v1.25 or later.
