The independent consulting and benchmarking company Cloud Mercato compared the cloud offerings of the US hyperscalers Amazon, Microsoft, and Google as well as the Open Telekom Cloud. Among other things, they measured compute performance using benchmarks such as Geekbench and Sysbench and the price/performance ratio in the area of storage.
