The QoS utilize the bandwidth for network inside the hypervisor for each host. Supported are only Flavor based on the KVM Hypervisor.

The benefits for the users are:

• Assured intranet bandwidth
• Improving network PPS and I/O performance with NIC Multi-Queue

Use Cases:

• All VM of the same hypervisor could use max network QoS/PPS if other VM within this hypervisor does not use it
• If some VM within one hypervisor used some network, then the platform will assure min network BW for each VM

The assured and maximum bandwidth or PPS per Flavor are available in the OTC Console or in the Help Center ECS Specifications.
