Our memory-optimized flavor of the M family is growing. The new m2.4xlarge.8 flavor with 16 vCPU's and 128GB memory complements our existing m2.8xlarge.8 flavor to offer a larger selection of the memory-optimized flavor. The M2 are based on hypervisor KVM and scalable second generation Intel® Xeon® E5-2690 v3 (30MB Cache, 2.60 GHz) processors.

The new flavor is currently available in availability zone 1 and availability zone 2.
