The Object Storage Service supports linkage of individual domain names to a bucket URL. This allows you to access the bucket via your individually selected domain. This is especially useful when hosting static web pages on the object storage while you want users to access it via a simplified URL. Another example is the migration of existing web applications using the Object Storage Service for static content. Thanks to the custom domain functionality, you do not need to adapt your web-applications code to achieve the migration.
