The numerous DCNC user groups from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will bring the four top themes of the festival – Container & Cloud Technologies, Microservices & Domain-driven Design, DevOps & Methodology and CI/CD & Automation – to life, present international experts and deliberately focus on unconventional formats that both convey the exponentially growing knowledge on the major topic of the cloud and enable festival visitors to participate.

Challenge

Capture the Flag, Escape Room Game, Guided Challenge: Speakers act as Gamemakers, participants work in teams. The content is communicated via gamification.

Demo stations, cloud cases: Admire the interactive installations and exhibits with mini-computers, IoT, Raspberry Pi etc.

Cloud Native Customer Stories

With insider knowledge of the architecture used, what is important for the mindset in cloud projects and how the cloud is in constant motion – dynamic, progressive, (r)evolutionary.

Debate Cloud

Expert Round Table, Bar Camp: Casual formats with a (slight) thematic focus and open objectives. Results are compiled on posters, in mind maps or using Tech Radar.

Ensemble Clouding

Understanding and discussing codes in Code Reading, programming a task together in Ensemble Programming or Live Debugging as a challenge.

Panel Lecture

With participants from the audience taking part spontaneously in a Panel Discussion. With a Fish Bowl, moderated Q&A and a rotating group of participants.

Show

Pentest Show, Cloud Jeopardy: Speakers present their topic as an entertainment show that can be organized like a tournament. The stage belongs to the performers.

Workshop

Code Kata, Code Retreat, Workshop: Speakers are coaches and instructors in a workshop format in which participants work on the topic individually or in groups.
